The city has long been known for its cherry festival which has been inscribed for some years on UNESCO’s representative list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. RESTOURS offers you the exploration of the city of Sefrou during a half-day excursion and also invites you to discover the city Bhalil meaning “the charm of the night” and which is famous to shelter until day troglodyte dwellings.
Program of the excursion
The departure to the city of Sefrou will be from Fez at 9am. After an hour drive, you will stop at the city of Bhalil whose name in Arabic means “The charm of the night”. This town, where you will have a good tea at the inhabitant, is located on the side of a hill and shelters troglodytic dwellings open to the tourists wishing to discover them. Then you will continue to Sefrou for a city tour. You will be able to enjoy after a charming panoramic view and the waterfall and lakes Oued Agay. You will be back in Fez around 13h.
