Overview

Imlil is a small village located in the High Atlas, about 64 kilometers from the city of Marrakech. Characterized by its bewitching natural beauty, it attracts more and more tourists seeking to relax and get away from it all. Also, Imlil is the starting point for hikers wishing to climb the highest mountain in Morocco, Mount Toubkal.

Program of the excursion

The excursion will begin on a 4×4 Land Cruiser that will lead you to the prodigious Atlas Mountains. You will make a stop during the route to admire the magnificent views overlooking the valley.
You will stop at Asni sometime where you will make a short 30 minute tour of the local weekly market to experience the Berber lifestyle. You will arrive at your destination at 11am where you will meet the local guides who will take you on a 1-hour ride on the back of mules through the Kasbah. During this hike, you will discover the village Mezig, nestled in the western part of the region which gives access to an admirable view of Imlil and valleys.
At 13h, you will be back to the Kasbah of Toubkal for a typical Berber lunch including soft drinks while enjoying a panoramic view overlooking beautiful landscapes.
Around 16h, you will take the road back to Marrakech.
